The Full Journey

From before the birth, during the birth, and through those precious first weeks at home. One consistent, trusted person by your side from the very beginning. We start with 2 prenatal meetings to prepare you for birth with confidence and calm. I am on call for you, 24/7 from 37 weeks and stay with you throughout labour and birth for as long as you need.

Once the baby arrives, I am there to provide the care and support you and the entire family need through the first month. The fourth trimester looks different for every family, and I am open and flexible to allow you the space to discover what you need: processing your birth experience, tending the baby needs, preparing nutritious meals, making sure that the house is organised and you are comfortable in it.

Everything is built around what you need. Some families want more hands-on newborn care. Others need meals, rest, and a calm presence. Most need a little of everything. This is for the family who wants to feel genuinely held.

FAQs

Which areas do you cover in Dublin? I support families across Dublin city and North County Dublin, including Malahide, Portmarnock, Howth, Sutton, Swords, Donabate, Clontarf, and surrounding areas. If you live slightly outside these areas, feel free to reach out during a free discovery call to see if we can make it work.

Which Dublin hospitals do you support? I support births across all Dublin maternity hospitals, including The Rotunda Hospital, The National Maternity Hospital (Holles Street), and The Coombe as well as Our lady of Lourdes hospital & home births.

Will having a birth doula replace or push aside my birth partner? Never! My role is to support both of you. I am there to take the pressure off your partner so they can be fully present without feeling overwhelmed. I guide partners on how to provide effective counter-pressure, comfort measures, and encouragement, ensuring you work together as a team.

I don’t have a birth partner. Can I take you instead? Absolutely. I have supported single mothers and woman that their partner wasn’t able to attend the birth from different reasons.
